Glass Hub Summer School 2014

Summer School
What a fantastic week at the Glass Hub Summer School.  We had a really great group of enthusiastic glass students investigating all kinds of glass processes from hot glassblowing,  sandcasting and lampworking to fusing, casting and kiln techniques. So much work was produced over the week and we are still in the process of packing and sending on some of the later pieces to their respective creators.
There were hot and sunny days, where, alongside the hands-on glass study  we took lunches in our little garden; a delicious cream tea at the farm, an evening meal at the old George Inn and watched an awesome evening demo from James Devereaux and Katie Huskie of Devereux and Huskie Glass.
A very big THANK YOU! to Ray Skene, Steve Williams, Karen Warner, James Devereux and Katie Huskie for their fabulous input, and to all the lovely students …you were an absolute pleasure to teach. Thank you to all who worked hard to make this week a success.
